New! Youth Baseball Leagues

The Kaukauna Recreation Department is starting youth baseball leagues for boys and girls ages 9-12.  These leagues will be focused on having fun, developing fundamental skills, learning good sportsmanship and growing participants into team-oriented players.  Coaches will work with all players regardless of skill level. All players will participate in practices and games.

Divisions:  Ages 9-10 & 11-12
Schedules:  Schedules vary by team – Coaches will provide schedule
Game Locations:  Riverside and Horseshoe Valley Parks
Games Begin:  June 3
Tournament:  TBA.  All teams participate!
Practices:  Vary by team – Coaches will contact all players
Coaches:  Volunteer Coaches and Advisory Board Members are needed!!  Please apply today!!
Fees:  $50/School District Residents; $60 Non-Residents.  Includes cap and t-shirt.
Deadline:  March 22

Assessment and Draft:  Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Horseshoe Valley Park Diamond #1, Ages 9-10 at 2:00 pm and Ages 11-12 at 4:30 pm.  All players must attend!!

MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition

The Kaukauna Recreation Department in partnership with Kaukauna Youth Baseball now offers the MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition, the official skills competition of Major League Baseball.  The event is intended to encourage youth participation and encourage the “FUN” element of baseball and softball.  Boys and Girls ages 7-14 can register and compete for FREE with a chance to advance all the way to the Major League All-Star Game!

MLB Jr. Home Run Derby Competition

The Kaukauna Recreation Department in partnership with Kaukauna Youth Baseball now offers the MLB Jr. Home Run derby Competition. The event provides youngsters 14 and under an opportunity to participate in an exciting, free, home run derby competition. The event will test hitting skills and power to determine the best home run hitters in the country. Boys and Girls compete together in one of two age groups (12U or 14U) with the participant’s age being determined as of July 17, 2017.
