This is a fun, educational activity for the entire family. Enjoy the outdoors and read the book First Snow in the Woods: A Photographic Fantasy by Carl R. Sams and Jean Stoick on our kid-friendly boardwalk trail. Reading stations will be set up along the boardwalk for a self-guided walk to read a page or two at each station. Visit each station to read the entire book and pick up a take and make craft to complete at home.
After completing the book, be sure to explore 1000 Islands and walk the trails. A virtual story time and educational program will be available online at the end of the program (3:00 PM) as well.
This is a free program for all families.
