Bees with Brian Jacobs – Adult Class

Join Kaukauna’s beekeeper, Brian Jacobs, as we learn about the beehives that are located in the Conservancy Zone at 1000 Islands and what steps he takes to manage the colony.

See what a beehive looks like and learn about the honey-making process. Brian will bring his beekeeping suit and equipment along with honey from last year’s hive to taste. Brian will also touch on the issues of why pollinators are declining.
