Yard Waste Drop-Off Site
In June of 2021, the City of Kaukauna opened the yard waste drop-off site to residents. Please see below for details regarding the drop-site.
Location and hours:
The site is located at the intersection of W. 3rd St and Bicentennial Ct, behind the Streets, Parks, and Recreation (SPaR) building, and is open Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm.
When using the drop-site, please enter from 3rd St, and exit on Bicentennial Ct.
What is accepted at the yard waste drop-site?
At this time, yard waste, small amounts of brush, and excess garbage is accepted.
Is waste oil accepted?
Waste oil is NOT accepted currently, but can be taken to the Outagamie County landfill. Once the site is fully functional, waste oil will be accepted.
Is excess recycling accepted?
Excess recycling is NOT accepted currently, but can be taken to the Outagamie County landfill. Once the site is fully functional, excess recycling will be accepted.
Are electronics or furniture items accepted?
NO, electronics and furniture items are NOT accepted at the yard waste drop-site.
What is the cost? How do residents obtain access to the site?
The gate to the site is not yet operational, and access cards are not yet available, therefore, the site is temporarily FREE for residents to use. Once the gate becomes operational, and we have access cards available, there will be a $25 annual fee for residents who would like to use this service.
When will the yard waste drop-site be fully functional?

Will there still be a spring and fall clean-up?
Yes, spring and fall clean-up remain the same. We will also continue with fall leaf pick-up.
Is the yard waste drop-site staffed?
No, the site is not staffed. However, security cameras are in place.
