What is the First Time Homebuyer Program?

The City of Kaukauna offers a financial assistance program to low to moderate income first time homebuyers in the amount of $2,500 to be used towards closing costs or down payments. The loan carries zero percent interest and payment is deferred until the home is sold, is no longer the applicants primary residence (rental) or the applicant exceeds low to moderate income guidelines. When are Plan Commission meetings held and how much notice do I have to give to be included on the agenda?

Plan Commission meetings are held on an as needed basis the Thursday after the first and third Tuesday (Council Meeting) of the month.

If you have an item you would like included on the agenda, please contact the Planning Department the Friday prior to the meeting, before noon, with any information you would like included in the Commissioner packets.
