Mission Statement

The mission of the City of Kaukauna Inspection is to provide safety code administrative services for Municipal and State Codes applicable to building, heating, electrical plumbing, and other similar fields.

About

The City of Kaukauna Municipal Code requires property owners to obtain permits prior to making repairs, alterations or improvements to their property and for all new construction. Types of permits include building, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. See the frequently asked questions for details.

Building inspections are required during construction. Inspections will vary based on the scope of the construction project. Inspections may be scheduled by contacting the Inspections Department. See the frequently asked questions for details.

Plan review for residential properties may be submitted to the Inspections Department. Plan review for commercial properties, which includes new buildings and additions totaling not more than 100,000 cubic feet.
