Upcoming Elections

There are two elections that may be scheduled in 2023 – Spring Primary (if needed) on February 21 and Spring Election on April 4.  Four alderperson seats are up for election in 2023.  The incumbents are Alder District 1 – Marty DeCoster, Alder District 2 – Kelli Antoine, Alder District 3 – Brian Schell and Alder District 4 – Pennie Thiele. District maps available here.

Thursday, December 1st is the first day for candidates to circulate nomination papers for the 2023 Spring Election. If you are interested in running for a City office and have questions regarding the process, please contact City Clerk Sally Kenney at (920) 766-6300 ext. 1110 or by email at [email protected].

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

  • Thursday, December 1, 2022 – First day for candidates to circulate nomination papers for 2023 Spring Election.
  • Friday, December 23, 2022 – Last day (5 p.m.) for incumbents not seeking re-election to file Declaration of Non-Candidacy with the City Clerk.
  • Tuesday, January 3, 2023 – Last day (5 p.m.) for candidates to file nomination papers with the City Clerk.
  • Tuesday, February 21, 2023 – Spring Primary (if required)
  • Tuesday, April 4, 2023 – Spring Election

*Absentee Ballots – The use of absentee ballot drop boxes is NOT permitted under Wisconsin Law. Ballots must be returned in person (by voter) or mailed to the Clerk’s office in order to be counted. Wis. Stat. s. 6.84 (1)

Election Day Voting Locations:

  • Aldermanic Districts 1 & 2/Wards 1 – 5, 16 (see map here) – vote at the Municipal Services Building (MSB)
  • Aldermanic Districts 3 & 4/Wards 6 – 15 (see map here) – vote in the Community Room at the Streets, Parks, and Rec (SPAR) Building (207 Reaume Avenue)
