Complete Bridge Closure Notification for Island Street Bridge Over the Tailrace (Located Behind Kaukauna Utilities Office) in Kaukauna

A complete closure of the Island Street Bridge over the tailrace (located behind Kaukauna Utilities office) will begin on Monday, August 15. The closure will last approximately three months.

Sheet Piling Services LLC will be replacing the Island Street Bridge over the tailrace. A full closure is anticipated to begin Monday, August 15 at 6:00 am and remain in place until mid-November. Work will require Island Street to be closed from Dodge Street through the Maple Street Intersection.

Any updates to the schedule will be posted on the City of Kaukauna website, social media, and emailed to any interested parties. Please look for additional correspondence next week from the City and Kaukauna Area School District regarding the school zone traffic plan for River View Middle School.
