CITY OF KAUKAUNA

NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election to be held in the several wards and election districts of the City of Kaukauna, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the following officers are to be elected:

A Mayor, for the term of two years, to succeed Anthony J. Penterman, whose term will expire on April 18, 2022.

A City Attorney, for the term of two years, to succeed Kevin Davidson, whose term will expire on April 30, 2022.

An Alderperson, for the term of two years, to succeed Jennie Eggleston, Ald. Dist. No. 1, Wards 1, 2, and 3, whose term will expire on April 18, 2022.

An Alderperson, for the term of two years, to succeed John Moore, Ald. Dist. No. 2, Wards 4, and 5, whose term will expire on April 18, 2022.

An Alderperson, for the term of two years, to succeed Mary Jo Kilgas, Ald. Dist. No. 3, Wards 6 and 7, whose term will expire on April 18, 2022.

An Alderperson, for the term of two years, to succeed Mike Coenen, Ald. Dist. No. 4, Wards 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, whose term will expire on April 18, 2022.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2021, and the final day for filing nomination papers in the office of the City Clerk is 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

The polls for said election will be as follows:  FIRST AND SECOND ALDERMANIC DISTRICTS will be in the Council Chambers, Municipal Services Building, 144 W. Second Street; and THIRD AND FOURTH ALDERMANIC DISTRICTS in the Community Room of the Street, Park, and Recreation (SPAR) Building, 207 Reaume Ave., Kaukauna.  The polls will open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. on Election Day.
