Reopening of City Buildings

Posted on May 27, 2020 by

A statement from Mayor Tony Penterman in regards to the reopening of City buildings:

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, staff at the City of Kaukauna have remained committed to providing the same services to the residents of our community via online platforms and telephone. City staff have worked through a plan to reopen City buildings to the public with safety measures in place to keep staff and residents safe. Click here for further detail on reopening strategies for each facility/department.

While our city buildings will be open to the public, we ask residents and other visitors to please first consider using our website or calling the appropriate department for assistance. We offer many options to serve residents’ needs without making an in-person visit. Please note that person-to-person meetings between the public and staff are available by appointment only. Please call the appropriate department to make arrangements.

Here are the open dates for a few city buildings (click here for further detail)

  • Kaukauna Public Library – opening Wednesday, May 27th
  • 1000 Islands Environmental Center – opening Monday, June 1st
  • Municipal Services Building, SPAR Building, Police Department Lobby – opening Monday, June 8th

Thank you for your patience as we work through these details. Please continue to stay safe and remain cognizant to the fact that this virus is still present.”
