Safety Precautions

During this pandemic, the health and safety of our residents and poll workers is top priority for tomorrow’s election. The following precautions will be in place at each poll location (Municipal Services Building and Streets, Parks, and Rec (SPAR) Building):

  • Our DPW staff made plexiglass stations/shields to protect poll workers and voters when registering (pictured).
  • Hand sanitizer will be available. Please use when you enter the building and when you leave.
  • Poll workers will wear either a face shield or a face mask. This is to not only protect them, but to also protect our voters.
  • There will be tape on the floor to mark off 6-foot increments to keep voters separated. Please follow these for proper social distancing.
  • Voting booths will be spread apart.
  • There will be no “I VOTED” stickers distributed at this election.
  • Signage is in place to to indicate need for separation.
