PUBLIC MEETING FOR STORM WATER FLOOD RELIEF PROJECT

Posted on Aug 12, 2019 by

The City of Kaukauna invites you to a public involvement meeting to discuss the plan development and construction phasing for storm water flood relief projects being proposed in the K4 storm water basin. Please click here for a map of the project areas.

The public meeting is scheduled for Monday August 19th from 5 PM to 6 PM, in the new Community Room at 207 Reaume Avenue, Kaukauna, Wisconsin 54130. (Next to the Fire Station)
Engineering Department staff will make a brief presentation, giving an overview of the projects we are proposing and possible timetables for completion. After the presentation, we will open up the meeting to questions, concerns, and comments from residents. We are seeking your input on the preliminary alternatives and project phasing, to help formulate a long range plan to relieve flooding in these areas.

Moving forward, as each individual project design is finalized, and before any construction occurs, you will receive additional information regarding any project which will directly affect your property. It is the intention of the City to pay for the project costs out of the Storm Water Utility Funds, and possible DNR grant programs; we do not anticipate any assessments to property owners for the flood relief projects.

If you cannot attend the meeting and have feedback or questions for the Engineering Department, please feel free to contact John Neumeier at [email protected] or by phone at 920-766-6305.
