Veterans Memorial Lift Bridge Funding Advances

After the U.S. Coast Guard ordered the City of Kaukauna to make the lift bridge operational by May 2021, local taxpayers were on the hook for a hefty bill.  Working in conjunction with Representative Steineke and the Fox River Navigational System Authority to get this project moving forward for the city has been an incredibly seamless process.  Securing the funding for the Veterans Memorial Lift Bridge will save Kaukauna taxpayers roughly $1.76 million and is going to make a huge difference in recreational water use in our community.
