City crews will pick up anything (except yard waste, hazardous waste, electronics, tvs, propane tanks, tires and motor oil) that you put out on your normal garbage collection day.
White Goods will need a sticker before placing them out for collection. Stickers can be purchased at the City Clerk’s Office at 144 W. Second Street, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Refrigerant stickers (freezer, refrigerator, air conditioner, or dehumidifier) are $15.00. Non-refrigerant stickers (stove, microwave, oven, washer, dryer, dishwasher, furnace or water heater) are $10.00. If appliance is left on curb or alley more than 24 hours previous to your garbage day, a charge of $20.00 plus cost of sticker will be billed to property owner.
Limbs and branches 2’-4’ in length should be wrapped in bundles. Limbs and branches 4’-6’ long should be neatly placed on the terrace with the butt ends facing the roadway. (Limb and branch collection by the City occurs during the second full week of every month).
